Yes. All AP SolarX lights operate independently of Eskom power. As long as the solar panel charges during the day, the lights will run at night — even during loadshedding.

Battery lifespan: 3–5 years (replaceable)
Overall product lifespan: 5–10 years with proper care

5. How long do the lights stay on at night?

Most models provide 8–12 hours of continuous lighting. Flood and street lights include auto-on sensors and timers for maximum efficiency.

6. Are AP SolarX products waterproof?

Yes. All outdoor products are IP65/IP67 rated, meaning they are dustproof and water-resistant — built for South African weather conditions.
